TiMOOD™ with neuroactive power

back

The Mibelle Biochemistry recently launched a new cosmetic ingredient with neuroactive power. TiMOOD™ is based on timut pepper, a spice plant from the Himalayas, and can improve neuronal function in the skin and positively influence one’s mood.

At the in-cosmetics global in Barcelona in March, the Mibelle Biochemistry presented its latest active ingredient to the public for the first time. TiMOOD™ based on timut pepper can improve the neuronal function in the skin, thereby increasing the homogeneity of the skin. In addition, TiMOOD™ has a positive effect on the mood and emotional well-being of the person.

Timut pepper from the Himalayas as a base

Timut pepper, also known as Nepalese pepper, grows as a shrub on the southern edge of the Himalayas. The fruits are sun-dried after harvest and have a piquant, grapefruit-like flavor. They are also used as a seasoning for traditional dishes. For the active ingredient TiMOOD™, the fruits of the wild Timut pepper plants are harvested in rural areas of Nepal.

The new active ingredient TiMOOD™ has an effect not only on the skin, but also on the mood. The effects of the active ingredient on the skin and emotional state were studied in volunteers. TiMOOD™ had a positive effect on mood and emotional well-being.
