We take consumer wellbeing as our overarching goal when we develop brands and proprietary brands in the fields of Personal Care & Beauty, Home Care and Nutrition. We offer innovative concepts and high-quality solutions that are precisely tailored to the needs of our customers and consumers. Thanks to its expertise in research and development, Mibelle Biochemistry is an independent, globally successful provider that provides modern and effective active ingredients for our products.
Since 2025, we have been part of Persán, a Spanish family-run business based in Seville. Together with Persán, we are reshaping the future of wellbeing, always with focus on quality and sustainability – so we can boost people’s wellbeing, health and beauty.

A story shaped by wellbeing

Gottlieb Duttweiler built up his own manufacturing network by taking over production facilities. The history of the Mibelle Group begins with this launch of in-house production.

How everything started

GIFA (Mifa AG since 1980, Mibelle AG today) was founded. The manufacture of detergents and cleaning agents, margarines and fat products began.

Migros is focusing on its core business and selling the Mibelle Group after 95 years to the Spanish family-owned company Persán, based in Seville, Spain. Gowoonsesang Cosmetics Co. Ltd., acquired in 2018, with the Dr.G brand, is sold separately and taken over by L'Oréal.
